Applying for Financial Aid
Â鶹ÊÓƵ makes it easy to apply for financial aid each academic year, but please don't hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
Due to federal regulations, you can only use financial aid for classes that count toward a declared, financial aid-eligible degree or certificate program. Learn more on that in our steps to apply for aid section.
Financial aid doesn't cover audited courses or prerequisite courses you might need for upper-division coursework.
You're also not eligible to receive financial aid if you're in default on a federal or state loan, or if you owe a refund on a grant you received to attend any institution. See more info about the aid process in our Titan Financial Aid Fast Facts brochure.
Remember that any aid offers factor in eligibility and financial need. Â鶹ÊÓƵ publishes annual Cost of Attendance estimates that are used as part of the aid eligibility equation. Offers also are based on enrollment status, with funding priority given to full-time students.
What Is My Enrollment Status?

---|---|---|---|

How to Apply for Financial Aid at Â鶹ÊÓƵ
As you follow the steps below, make sure your program is eligible for federal financial aid by checking the chart. Under Dept. of Education rules, only the coursework that counts toward your declared, eligible degree or certificate program will be used in determining your hours of enrollment for federal aid purposes (grants, loans, and Federal Work-Study). See more about this important requirement, including resources to help you track required courses so your aid is not reduced or canceled.
