Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Press Internship

Gain First-Hand Knowledge About Publishing

The fall 2026 internships are designed to be hybrid or entirely online experiences. Student interns will work 10–12 hours per week on academic, trade, and AUSA military titles over a semester’s period. Work will range among editing, marketing, and content creation assignments.

Internship Criteria

Interested parties must:

  • Be an enrolled undergraduate student at the University of North Georgia with a major or minor in English. We are also open to students with computer, marketing, or graphic design skill sets.
  • Have passed Introduction to Publishing (English 3195) with a B or higher.
  • Have a highly proficient understanding of grammar and writing.
  • Understand how to use Track Changes in Microsoft Word.

If you are not an English major or minor:

  • You have passed Intro to Graphic Design (ART 3450) or Visual Literacy (ART 3500) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Art.
  • You have passed Fundamentals of Business Management (MGMT 3661) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Business.
  • You have passed Social Media (COMM 3530) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Communications.
