Office of the President
Welcome to the University of North Georgia
Having spent nearly three decades as a faculty member and academic leader at this remarkable institution, it is the honor of a lifetime to serve the Nighthawk nation as interim president. Every day across our five campuses and online, I witness the dedication of our faculty, the commitment of our staff, and the extraordinary ambition of our more than 20,000 students.
Designated by the University System of Georgia as a State Leadership Institution and statutorily recognized as The Military College of Georgia, Â鶹ÊÓƵ holds a distinct and vital mission. Whether through the proud traditions of the Boar’s Head Brigade, our nationally competitive NCAA Division II athletics programs, or the rigorous undergraduate and graduate degree pathways across our academic colleges, we are united by a single promise: Students First. Always.
During this time of transition, our institutional momentum remains strong and steady. Together, we will continue to advance student success, expand regional workforce and economic impact across northeast Georgia, and prepare leaders of character for our state, our nation, and our global community.
Chaudron Gille, Ph.D.
