University of North Georgia President Michael P. Shannon has been advanced by the University of North Florida Presidential Search Committee as a finalist for consideration to serve as UNF’s next president.

This recognition reflects President Shannon’s leadership and the tremendous work underway across the University of North Georgia.

At this point, President Shannon remains president of �鶹��Ƶ. The UNF search process includes additional steps before any final appointment is made, and he will continue leading �鶹��Ƶ as that process moves forward.

We congratulate President Shannon on being selected as a finalist and will keep the �鶹��Ƶ community informed as the UNF search process moves forward.
