Â鶹ÊÓƵ Night at Braves is Sept. 7
University of North Georgia (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends will have a chance to enjoy an Atlanta Braves game together for the fourth year in a row. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association is sponsoring its fourth annual for Atlanta's Sept. 7 game against the Toronto Blue Jays, which is set for 7:20 p.m.
More than 2,000 tickets are available for those connected with Â鶹ÊÓƵ to attend the game at Truist Park in Atlanta. The seating is in sections 410-417.
Individual tickets of up to nine guests are $25 each and can be purchased on the . For groups of 10 or more, tickets are $23 each and can be purchased by calling 706-864-1547 or by stopping by the Alumni Relations office at 70 Alumni Drive at Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Dahlonega Campus. All proceeds will benefit the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association encourages everyone to wear their Â鶹ÊÓƵ blue and gold to the Braves game.
The event was initiated by Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins. Â鶹ÊÓƵ Night at the Braves featured games against the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022 and the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association has announced the 2025 honorees for its fourth annual '20 Under 40' program.
Alumnus receives national trooper honor
Trooper First Class II Julian Mapes of the Georgia State Patrol has been named the International Association of Chiefs of Police/Motorola Solutions national Trooper of the Year. Mapes is a 2018 Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate.
Alumni Weekend set for April 25-27
Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Alumni Weekend is set for April 25-27, including the 54th Alumni Awards banquet, a golf tournament, reunions, musical events, and Reunite.
Leadership luncheon honors 13 women
The ninth annual Women's Leadership Recognition Luncheon honored 10 student leaders and three alumnae March 2 at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Dining Hall Banquet Room at the Dahlonega Campus.
