Night at the Braves returns Sept. 9

The third Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Night at the Atlanta Braves, sponsored by the Alumni Association, will take place on Sept. 9.

The third annual University of North Georgia (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ) Night at the Atlanta Braves is a chance for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to gather for an evening of fun and watch the Atlanta Braves play against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The event, sponsored by the , starts at 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Truist Park in Atlanta. Just over 2,000 tickets are available for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends. Tickets cost $22 for individuals and $20 for groups of 10 or more.

This event offers us a chance to really show our alumni, student body, faculty, staff, and community partners what a unique and special institution Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is. It is a one-of-a-kind event for our Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ family.

"This event offers us a chance to really show our alumni, student body, faculty, staff, and community partners what a unique and special institution Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is," Jared Patterson, Alumni Relations officer for young alumni, said. "It is a one-of-a-kind event for our Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ family.”

The event was initiated by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins.

Designed to engage with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni, all proceeds from Night at the Braves ticket sales will benefit the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Alumni Association.

The event is open to students on all five campuses of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and is sure to be a special time for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community. Members of the Corps of Cadets, Fraternity and Sorority Life and other organizations will be in attendance.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's sections for the night are 410-417 with cadets specifically in section 414. All tickets are non-refundable and will be distributed digitally to the email address provided at purchase. Children ages 2 and under may be admitted to Braves games without a ticket. However, they must sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children ages 3 and above require a ticket.
