Wind Ensemble
The University of North Georgia (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) Wind Ensemble is a resident ensemble on the Dahlonega Campus.
The band performs both on and off campus throughout the entire academic year and performs many celebrated genres of music, from contemporary artists such as Eric Whitacre and Frank Ticheli, to traditional pieces by Alfred Reed and Percy Grainger. The music is both challenging and musically rewarding.
Members of the band are required to participate in all rehearsals and performances and are expected to spend time outside of class perfecting and refining their musical abilities.
The University of North Georgia (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) Wind Ensemble is open to all qualified students by audition.
