Enrollment Selections
If you work 20 or more hours per week, participation in a mandatory retirement plan from the is required. Your eligibility depends on your employment status:
- Nonexempt (Hourly) Employees:
- You are automatically enrolled in the Teachers Retirement System (TRS).
- Exempt (Salaried) Employees:
- You may choose between TRS or the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). You have 60 days from your hire date to select the ORP; otherwise, you will be automatically enrolled in TRS.
