Computer Science (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science with a major in computer science prepares graduates for high-tech careers in the broad field of computer science and related thriving fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and information security in businesses and organizations of all sizes. Required courses in programming, web and mobile app development, information security, software engineering, computer architecture, operating systems, networking, databases, and intelligent systems, combined with a solid theoretical foundation, ensure graduates stand out in the workplace.

In addition, a concentration in Information Assurance and Security (IAS) and available minors in mobile app development, cybersecurity, machine learning, and data science can enhance the value of the degree, further strengthening career opportunities for graduates.
