How did you overcome your transfer struggles?
Let go of the past; you can't change it. Accept it for what it is, learn from it, grom from it, and do better.
Why did you choose Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and what do you enjoy about being a Nighthawk?
I chose Â鶹ÊÓƵ because my grandfather assumed temporary guardianship of me during my senior year of high school and I felt it was a moral obligation. I felt that I owed it to him to finish my degree because of the enormous amount of time and energy he had invested in my health, finances, and character development. Eventually, I decided I owed it to myself as well - I needed to finish what I started. What I love about being a Nighthawk is directly correlated with being a member of the Corps of Cadets. Everywhere I go and every person I have met is a shining example of what one can achieve. I am challenged every day to become the best version of myself and the best example I can for others. There is always something to do on the campus, the faculty/staff treat you as a person - not as a number, and I've never felt like I don't belong.

How did you overcome your transfer struggles?
I struggled with the online format of the classes. Mentally transferring over from one online format to another proved to be quite difficult, but I was eventually able to understand it after trial and error.
Why did you choose Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and what do you love about being a Nighthawk?
I chose Â鶹ÊÓƵ because I had heard it offered a very good education program, and I had toured one of the five campuses many times during my high school career. The openness of the campus and kind staff always caught my eye. That was when I decided to become a Nighthawk.

- II overcame my transfer struggles through constant communication, getting involved in campus organizations, and keeping up to date on my degree works and registration processes.

- I chose Â鶹ÊÓƵ because I was familiar with the systems, and it truly felt like a home to me. I love being a Nighthawk because of the close-knit community and connections I have built!
