Lori Furbush, Ph.D.

Overview
Dr. Furbush graduated from North Georgia College, as it was known then, with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in English. She got her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from UGA. She also has a Certificate in Gerontology from UGA and a Certificate in Clinical Research from Gwinnett Tech. After graduate school, Dr. Furbush worked at the VAMC Rehab R&D Center and at Emory University as a research scientist specializing in Health & Gerontological Research. She was a statistician and project manager for various studies being conducted at Emory and at the VAMC. After her first son was born, she started teaching at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. She has two sons and lives in Cumming.
