Chelsea Story earned a Master of Science in College Student Development from Lee University in 2014. She began her career in academic support at Sam Houston State University, where she spent three years working closely with students to strengthen their academic skills and persistence. She then transitioned into academic advising, serving in a variety of roles over the next four years and deepening her experience in student success and retention.

Chelsea returned to Dahlonega, Georgia, in 2021 to join the University of North Georgia’s Care & Outreach Team. She now serves as the Associate Dean of Student Care & Outreach on the Cumming campus, where she provides leadership for case management, student support services, and intervention efforts across the institution. Her work centers on helping students navigate complex personal and academic challenges, connecting them with resources, and promoting holistic well‑being and success.
